Jaime Oliver — You Got a Real Solution

Standard

Celebrity handsome and sexy? Indisputably. But is he really 6 ft tall and blonde? A bit girlie? Nakedly revolutionizing?

TV celebrity chef Jaime Oliver, himself,  lays these questions about his enhanced looks to rest —once and for all. Straight up.

And Jaime’s wife of 12 years, Jools, gives us a pretty good idea about his feminine side. Also straight up. “He’s quite girly. He chose the pink in the house. He does the girls’ hair in the morning, plaits it, straightens it.” So that really begs the question: what does Jools do?  Well, for starters…she keeps a very close tab on Jaime, of course.

You say you want a Food Revolution

They don’t call him the Naked Chef for nothing. Jaime Oliver has created a media buzz with his Food Revolution, which has hit hard and dramatically at the junk food and sugar-laced beverage industries that peddle to kids.

“Energy drinks are Kid Cocaine.” Contrary to what we’ve all been led to believe, flavored milk is not a healthier alternative; it’s actually loaded with as much sugar as soda. This stuff is all bad. Straight up.

Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution makes it nakedly plain to see and understand the health damaging impact of junk food and sugar addictive drinks. Case in point: the food and beverages being served to kids in cafeterias throughout the Los Angeles Unified School District.

So how does this LAUSD campaign compare to any of his other Food Revolution efforts?  “You know I’ve had my ups and downs, arguments, and all sorts of problems–but there’s always been a glimmer of hope. I haven’t even got a glimmer of hope of getting into one school. I don’t like it. Which means, it’s war.”

You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don't you know that you can count me out
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
All right, all right
You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We'd all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We're doing what we can -- Artist Lyrics: The Beatles
